Paper and Cardboard are collected together in one bag/liner or bin as they are easy to seperate and grade for recycling.

(Large boxes can be flattened and collected seperately)

Why Recycle
Paper that is sent to landfill sites can take upto 15 years to decompose, due to lack of air caused by compression systems landfill sites use. This prevents the natural decomposition process to take place creating methane gas, which is highly flammable and very dangerous.

Did you know?
12.5 million tonnes of paper and cardboard are used each year in the UK.

1 ton of recycled paper saves:
17 mature trees, 6,953 gallons of water, 463 gallons of oil, 4,077 kilowatt hours and 3.06 cubic yards of landfill space.

USEFUL TIP! to save paper.

Should you choose to use our services, we will arrange a collection schedule to remove the materials for recycling and take to a registered environment recycling facility for sorting and grading. Once segregated and undergoing various stages of decontamination and further separation the items will be reused in the manufacturing of new products.

We can supply a full range of recycling containers for rental or purchase (see RECYCLING BINS).
